Fogging

Chemical fogging produces a fine mist, whereas dry fogging (used when there is electrical equipment present) creates a fog effect.

We use ULV (ultra low volume) machines which allow the disinfectant to be passed through the unit, creating an airborne mist of micro-droplets. These droplets diffuse through the air before settling on surfaces. Meaning that the disinfectant is active both as a space spray and a surface spray.

The biocide particles in the mist or fog are so small that they remain suspended in the air long enough to kill airborne viruses and bacteria. This is why our fogging service in the Midlands & Lincolnshire is often used in conjunction with our COVID-19 deep cleaning service.

The biocide eliminates pathogens on surfaces, furniture, floors, ceilings and walls. Fogging can sanitise those hard to reach areas easily.

COVID-19 Fogging & Decontamination

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that spreads from person to person via respiratory droplets. This occurs when an infected person coughs or sneezers. It can also be transmitted by touching a contaminated surface and then touching the mouth, nose or eye area.

The government advice is to disinfect areas of human congregation to support the containment strategy.

As well as our COVID-19 deep cleaning service we also provide fogging. This involves using a certified anti-viral product that eliminates bacteria, germs and fungi. It is non-toxic and bleach free. Give us a call on 01507 607986 to find out more about fogging in Lincolnshire, the Midlands and the surrounding areas.

Decontamination For Coronavirus

Whilst each facility and business premises is different, the following areas should receive focused decontamination attention via fogging or deep cleaning:

  • Areas of human congregation (including offices, conference rooms, kitchens, locker rooms, reception areas).
  • Hygiene facilities (including washrooms, toilets, shower rooms, hand-washing stations).
  • Dispensaries (including medical & first aid stations, eyewash stations, emergency shower rooms).

Decontamination provides additional reassurance for employees, customers and staff who may be anxious about the COVID-19 outbreak. Fogging also eliminates any suspected or confirmed cases within your premises.
